This policy covers the Agralis website at agralis.global, Agralis Vision, the Get notified form, the private briefing, and messages you send us by WhatsApp or email. It explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and how to see, correct or delete it.
Last updated 14 October 2026
Agralis is a trading name of Ugly Duckling Trading Limited, a New Zealand company (NZBN 9429041371206). We handle personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Our privacy officer can be reached at [email protected].
The Agralis platform at app.agralis.global is covered by the terms you accept when you register. We will extend this policy to cover the platform before early access opens in late 2026.
You can sign up with the Get notified form or by asking Agralis Vision, which shows the same short form in the chat and saves nothing until you confirm it. We collect your email address, whether you are a grower, buyer, exporter or other party, the crops you are interested in, the country your connection comes from and your browser type. We use it to tell you when early access opens and to understand who is interested. We send one email when early access opens and nothing else unless you ask.
The questions you type, the answers given, and technical data including your IP address. We use it to answer you, to keep the service secure and to improve Vision. Do not type information you would not want stored.
Your WhatsApp number, your WhatsApp profile name and the messages you send us. We use them to reply to you. Your first message receives an automatic acknowledgement. Agralis AI answers general questions about Agralis straight away. For anything else, the AI drafts a reply and a member of our team reviews it before it is sent, and we see every conversation. Reply "Human please" at any time and only a person will reply to you from then on. If you ask to join the early access list in WhatsApp, we store your email address, role and crops with the other sign-ups once you tap Confirm.
If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
The private briefing is open only to people we invite. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. We record your email address, when you accepted the confidentiality terms and which version, and the questions you ask the briefing assistant with its answers. These records are kept against your sign-in, retained by Agralis and may be reviewed by Agralis. We use them to provide the briefing, to follow up anything it could not answer, and to keep it secure.
The website has no advertising trackers. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, does not store your IP address and does not follow you to other sites; it tells us things like which pages are read, which countries visitors come from and which site referred them. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We use these providers to run the services above. They process information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments. Some of them store or process information outside New Zealand, including in the United States.
We keep sign-ups until you ask us to remove them or we stop offering early access notices. We keep WhatsApp and email conversations for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and keep a record of it, and no longer than 24 months after the last message. We keep private briefing records for as long as we need them to provide and follow up the briefing, and no longer than 24 months after your last use of it. Vision technical logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the service.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
To have your information deleted, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, or send us a WhatsApp message saying "Delete my data" from the number you used. Tell us which service it relates to if you know. We will delete your sign-up, messages and contact details within 20 working days and confirm by the same channel. We may keep a record that you asked, so we do not contact you again.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
