What Agralis is

A platform for New Zealand onion growers and their buyers, with other fresh produce to follow.

Agralis is a platform where growers, their nominated exporters and offshore buyers deal in New Zealand onions under one set of rules: one specification language, one quality standard, one costing sheet and one record of the deal. It starts before the season, not at the listing: growers plan their crop and buyers plan their programmes on the platform, and the trade is built on that shared record. Both sides see the same facts and follow the same process, and the decision stays with them.

Agralis never takes title.

Title passes from the grower to the buyer. Agralis does not buy, sell or own the produce.

Agralis never takes a position.

It does not set or negotiate the price, and it never tells either party what to bid or what to accept.

The parties deal with each other directly.

Agralis provides the rules, the facts and the record they deal on, and a platform fee applies only when a deal settles.

Why we exist

The conditions are never certain. What you know should be.

In the paddock, growing is precision work: guided sprayers, satellite imagery, weather models, science-based agronomy. Beyond the gate, the trade that turns a crop into a return still runs on phone calls. It does not have to. Weather, freight, disease, currency, quota, a war on the other side of the world: no one controls what moves the price of food. What you can control is whether you are working from the same facts as the person on the other side of the deal.

The variables that matter, in plain sight, for every party to the deal.

2

How we do it

Clarity, not complexity.

01 · See clearly

Objective information

Market data calibrated to your crop and your destinations, drawn from published export and wholesale sources and the platform's own anonymised deal history. Agralis shows you the market. It never tells you what to bid or what to accept.

02 · Same rules

Consistent standards

One specification language, one quality check, one set of trade terms, one process from commitment to payment. Every cost a visible line item, every claim backed by evidence. The same for every party, on every deal.

03 · Less cost

One set of rails, and the buying power of many

Programmes, stock, compliance evidence, documents, freight and settlement run through one platform, so the hand-offs, re-keying and chasing that erode returns on both sides go away. And because many deals run through one platform, freight, foreign exchange and trade finance can be arranged at rates and terms built for volume rather than a single shipment.

Who it's for

Built for the whole chain.

Buyers hold the demand, growers hold the supply. Agralis gives both the same facts and the same rules, and gives the people who work for them the tools to do it well.

Verified supply, not a promise

Stock comes from the grower's own record, updated as it moves. What you are offered exists, in the size and grade stated, and is committed to you when you confirm.

Many growers, one specification

Supply from multiple producers behind a single request, so the right size, the right grade and the right timing are a matter of matching, not of what one grower happens to have. Continuity across the season without managing a dozen relationships.

One specification, evidence when you want it

Your spec passes through exactly as written. Ask for an independent cut-sample check, verified by CAILU, on any lot, and confirm against the photo and the report before the goods move. Sellers can attach one unasked, for their own protection. Either way, nobody confirms for you.

Supply you can plan around

Structured programmes by variety, grade, volume and pack across origins and seasons, with documented outturn and one set of trade terms. No spot-price surprises, no quality lottery.

Every cost in the open

Freight, documentation, finance, the platform fee and any agent commission are named lines in the deal. You see what the grower receives and what everything in between costs.

Documents in order, always current

Availability, allocations, shipments, certificates and compliance evidence in one place, delivered on the terms you agree, with nothing left to chase.

Working with a sourcing agent

You hold the account.

Your agent works within the permissions you set: loading deal requests, negotiating inside your limits, keeping the relationship. Where they have in-market capability, they can take a port delivery through to your door and price it as a line you can see. Their commission is paid by the platform out of the deal, not invoiced to you. For agents →

For Sourcing Agents

Never turn a deal down.

Source for your buyers from aggregated supply, not one grower's shed.

A bigger pool than any one grower

Your buyers want volume, continuity and options. Agralis puts aggregated, verified supply behind you, so the answer is a quote, not an apology.

Act for your buyers, on their account

The buyer holds the login and sets what you can do. You load deal requests, negotiate within their limits and keep the relationship. Nothing moves without the record showing who did what.

Deliver the last mile if you can

Have in-market clearance and delivery? Turn a port delivery into a door delivery and price it as a line the buyer can see.

Paid from the flow

Your commission is a named line in the deal. The platform deducts it and pays you directly when the buyer pays. No invoicing the buyer, no waiting on the exporter.

"More supply. More deals. Paid direct."
For Growers and Packers

Your stock, your record, free

Enter your blocks, crop cycles and lots once. Every movement is logged, every bin accounted for, and you can see exactly what you have to sell at any moment. No cost, no obligation to trade, and nobody sees it unless you release it.

Plan the season, not just the shed

Blocks, crop cycles and expected yield roll forward into a stock board by week: what is harvested, what is in store, what is committed to which deal, and what is free to sell. Allocate against programmes before the crop is out of the ground, and see the gap between what buyers have asked for and what you can supply.

Your compliance, in one vault

Certificates, registrations and expiry dates in one place, with a warning before anything lapses. Market eligibility is looked up for you; you confirm it.

Your season against the market

Benchmarks built on published export data and anonymised deal history show where your volumes, sizing and timing sit against the season. Decisions rest on evidence, not the last phone call.

The full breakdown, then your decision

Before you commit a lot, see the costing sheet: what the buyer pays, what freight, documents, finance, the platform fee and any commission cost (including your exporter's commission if you record it), and what reaches you, in your currency. No commitment without it.

No exporter? No problem

You will not need an existing exporter to sell through Agralis. Agralis is preparing to act as exporter of record for growers who want it, covering documents, compliance and freight, so that from the 2027 season a grower with a good crop and no offshore relationships can sell to the same buyers as anyone else.

Ship the way you choose

Use your nominated exporter, or from the 2027 season use Agralis, or mix by deal, with freight, documentation and compliance at a visible rate. Set a default, change it deal by deal.

Evidence on your side

Attach a CAILU cut-sample check to any lot before it ships. If a claim comes in, the record of what left the packhouse is already there, and claims are settled on evidence, never blanket deductions.

Demand from many markets, one release

Release the lots you want to sell and they go in front of the buyers on the platform: different sizes, different timing, different specifications. Neither party learns the other's identity until the deal is contracted.

Working with an exporter

You hold the account.

Nominate one exporter or several, and each works from your record within the permissions you set: which lots they see, whether they can quote, whether a commitment needs your approval first. They get a consolidated view across every grower who nominates them; you keep your data, your costing sheet and your choice. Agralis settles each trade to you; what you have agreed with your exporter stays between you and them. For exporters →

For Exporters

Spend your time on the deal, not the paperwork.

Growers who nominate you appear on one consolidated dashboard. Documentation, compliance evidence and freight are available as a service, so you add value where it counts.

One dashboard, all your growers

Every grower who nominates you appears in one place: released stock by lot, allocations, quality evidence and shipment status, without ringing round packhouses.

Act within the permissions your growers set

Quote, negotiate and prepare shipments on their behalf. Where a grower has given you commit authority, commit; where they have not, the deal waits for their approval and the record shows who did what.

Shipping and documentation, done for you

Export documents generated from the deal record, compliance evidence attached, freight booked at a visible rate. Take it deal by deal, or keep your own arrangements.

Your terms with your growers stay yours

Agralis settles each trade to the grower and shows your commission as a line on their costing sheet. What you have agreed with them is between you and them.

More growers, same headcount

Handle more volume and more corridors without the proportional growth in people that caps a traditional operation.

For Logistics Providers

One counterparty, many cargoes.

Volume you can plan for

Agralis aggregates growers and exporters into a single booking relationship, with forecast volumes by corridor and season, so you quote once and fill space you can plan for.

One contract, one invoice

Bookings, documents and invoicing run through one counterparty on standard terms, not a different arrangement for every shipper.

Integration first

Booking and tracking connected to the deal record, so status reaches the buyer and the grower without anyone re-keying it.

"Quote once. Fill the ship."
Quality

Know what you get.

Quality disputes are where perishable trade loses its money and its relationships. Agralis replaces "your word against mine" with a record both sides saw before the goods moved.

One specification language

Spec passes through exactly as written, in the same fields for every deal: variety, size, grade, pack, tolerance. No interpretation in the middle, no "commercial quality" to argue about later.

Evidence, when either side wants it

A cut-sample photo captured at packing on a calibrated template and analysed by CAILU, an independent produce quality specialist. A buyer can require it on any lot. A seller can attach one unasked, for their own protection. The result travels with the lot.

Independent inspection on arrival

Either side can request an independent in-market inspection when the goods land, arranged through Agralis and reported against the same spec the lot left with. The outturn is on the record before any claim is raised.

The parties confirm. Agralis never warrants.

Buyer and seller each confirm what they have agreed against the evidence in front of them. Agralis holds the record, keeps it, and does not take a side. It does not certify the goods.

Claims on the record, not on volume

A short inspection window, in-market checks and retention held against clean outturn mean a claim is settled on what was recorded, not on who shouts loudest. No blanket deductions.

The same rules, signed by everyone

Every party signs the same standing documentation when they join: trade terms, quality and claims process, payment, responsibilities. Nobody negotiates the rulebook deal by deal, so everyone knows what is expected of them and what they can expect in return.

Agralis Vision

See the full picture.

Agralis Vision is the intelligence layer: global market signals, harvest and export data, wholesale benchmarks and the platform's own anonymised deal history, calibrated separately for every origin and destination it serves, checked by people before anything is published, and sharper every season.

In English, vision means foresight. In French, it also means hallucination. Agralis Vision is the antidote to trading blind.

Scenarios, not tips

Vision learns how a market behaves over years and shows you how this season could play out, with the assumptions stated. It describes the market. It never recommends a price.

Technology

Built for what's next.

Agralis is AI-native: the intelligence, the assistant and the data handling are built in, not bolted on, and the platform is structured so the next generation of trade can run on the same rules.

AI where it earns its place

Agralis Vision reads the market and shows scenarios with their assumptions. The in-app assistant answers questions about your own deals and stock. An AI-assisted import reads your existing records, in whatever form they are in, and shows you its reading before anything is saved.

Every deal, one structured record

Specification, evidence, terms, documents and settlement are captured as data, not as PDFs and email threads. That is what makes benchmarks possible, claims settleable, and integrations with your own systems straightforward.

Trade where you already are

Deal updates and negotiation reach you on WhatsApp and LINE as well as in the app, in your language. The same rules and the same record, whichever channel you use.
