For buyers and importers of New Zealand onions

Know what you get. Before it ships.

Buying New Zealand onions, made simple. Set out a season programme or ask for quotes as often as you need, see every cost as a named line and ask for independent quality evidence before the goods move. From the 2027 season, compare suppliers' quotes side by side, like for like.

Early access opens in late 2026. Set up your programmes ahead of the 2027 season.

Two ways to buy

However you buy New Zealand, it should be easy.

Some buyers need New Zealand for a few weeks a year; others price every week. Either way, Agralis puts the season, the stock and the costs on one screen, so buying from New Zealand is simple and predictable.

Filling your counter-season gap

For importers who need New Zealand to cover the weeks when their own stores run out. Set out your programme early, by week, size and pack. Growers quote against it and volume is committed when you confirm, so the gap is planned before the season starts.

Buying week by week

For buyers who price often. Ask for quotes as often as you need, daily if you want. Every quote comes back on the same specification and terms with every cost a named line, and from the 2027 season you can compare suppliers side by side, like for like, in a few clicks.

Coming for the 2027 season

No new app. Trade in the chat you already use.

Agralis is a business contact in your WhatsApp or LINE. Ask for quotes, check the quality evidence, counter and confirm right there in the chat, under the same rules as the platform. Every message is logged on the deal record.

Agralis carries each message to the grower and brings the answer back. The parties decide.

Sourcing

Verified supply, not a promise.

No more sourcing on someone's word about quality, or waiting for an offer to find out what New Zealand has by size and timing. Stock comes from the growers' own records, updated as it moves, so what you are offered exists in the size and grade stated. Set out what you need for the season and match it.

Many growers, one specification

Supply from multiple producers behind a single request, so the right size, the right grade and the right timing are a matter of matching, not of what one grower happens to have. Continuity across the season without managing a dozen relationships.

Supply you can plan around

Structured programmes by variety, grade, volume and pack across origins and seasons, with documented outturn and one set of trade terms.

Deals that fit the calendar

Many produce deals fail on timing, and the problem is often found late. Set an arrival window and Agralis works back to the date the goods must leave New Zealand, then checks it against historical New Zealand export data. You see if you are asking before the crop normally ships to your market, and when few sailings fit your window, so you can widen your dates early. It is guidance for your decision, not a booking.

Every cost in the open

Freight, documentation, finance, the platform fee and any agent commission are named lines in the deal. You see what the grower receives and what everything in between costs.

Documents in order, always current

Availability, allocations, shipments, certificates and compliance evidence in one place, delivered on the terms you agree, with nothing left to chase.

Know the market before you buy

Market intelligence built from published sources: official export statistics, overseas market reports, competing-origin supply, currency and freight. See how the New Zealand season compares with other origins, and plan your programme on facts, not guesswork.

It never shows any individual grower's stock, plans or prices. You see a grower's lots only when that grower chooses to quote or release them.

Quality

One specification. Evidence when you want it.

Quality disputes are where perishable trade loses its money and its relationships. Agralis replaces "your word against mine" with a record both sides saw before the goods moved.

One specification language

Your spec passes through exactly as written, in the same fields for every deal: variety, size, grade, pack, tolerance. No interpretation in the middle, no "commercial quality" to argue about later.

Evidence before the goods move

Ask for an independent cut-sample check, verified by CAILU, on any lot, and confirm against the photo and the report before the goods move. Sellers can attach one unasked, for their own protection.

Independent inspection on arrival

Request an independent in-market inspection when the goods land, arranged through Agralis and reported against the same spec the lot left with. The outturn is on the record before any claim is raised.

You confirm. Agralis never warrants.

Buyer and seller each confirm what they have agreed against the evidence in front of them. Agralis holds the record and does not take a side. Nobody confirms for you.

Working with a sourcing agent

You hold the account. Your agent works within it.

Your agent works within the permissions you set: loading deal requests, negotiating inside your limits, keeping the relationship. Where they have in-market capability, they can take a port delivery through to your door and price it as a line you can see. Their commission is a named line in the deal.

Agralis never takes title.

Title passes from the grower to you. Agralis does not buy, sell or own the produce.

Agralis never takes a position.

It does not set or negotiate the price, and it never tells either party what to bid or what to accept.

You deal with the grower directly.

Neither side learns the other's identity until the deal is contracted. Agralis provides the rules, the facts and the record.
